The Ego's Job

The Ego's job is to make you believe that the illusion is real.

The ego is the guardian of the illusion, so that you can continue to experience life as if it is the real deal. 

The ego has all sorts of tricks to keep you immersed in this 3D movie and participating as if your life depended on it. Some of those tricks are fear, worry, limitation, scarcity, etc...

But once you see past the trickery of the ego, the illusion becomes clear and there is no longer any need for the ego to continue. The program called EGO stops. This is Awakening.
